By visiting cities like Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City), Hue and Hanoi, we uncover that vibrant mix of the various major influences. By stopping in Hoi An and Halong Bay, we discover places of eternal beauty that have also played their part in Vietnam's history. By paying homage to ancient Angkor, we witness one of the world's greatest archaeological treasures. The heritage of both Vietnam and Cambodia combines eastern cultures with western influences, resulting in the somewhat eclectic and magical mix that we enjoy today.

Day 1	(Sun) Arrive in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) and transfer to hotel.
Day 2	Explore city and visit Cu Chi Tunnels.
Day 3	Fly to Danang. Visit Marble Mountain, China Beach and drive to Hoi An.
Day 4	Cyclo tour around Hoi An and visit historic Champa site of My Son.
Day 5	Free day to explore Hoi An.
Day 6	Drive to Hue. Visit Citadel and Forbidden Purple City.
Day 7	Perfume River cruise and free time to explore Hue and surroundings.
Day 8	Fly to Hanoi and enjoy city tour of Vietnam's capital.
Day 9	Drive to Halong Bay. Boat cruise on bay, staying onboard overnight.
Day 10	Complete cruise on Halong Bay and return to Hanoi.
Day 11	Fly to Siem Reap.
Day 12	Guided tour of Angkor Thom, Ta Prohm and Angkor Wat.
Day 13	Visit Banteay Srei and Preah Khan. Lunch at Sala Bai Hotel School and free time to explore Siem Reap.
Day 14	Tour ends in Siem Reap after breakfast (Sat).

By employing and training local guides to lead our group holidays, there is a two-fold benefit. Firstly, we provide employment opportunities for the local community. Just as importantly is the benefit to you, the traveller. Your tour leader’s friendship, humour, passion and intimate knowledge of the region will be key factors in making your holiday a success. Peregrine will use different tour leaders to run the various sectors of this particular trip. We will have a local leader for Vietnam and Cambodia respectively. You will be unescorted on the flight from Hanoi to Siem Reap.
